The bond, the excess and your kilometres

A refundable hold placed on your card before you collect the vehicle. It is not a charge. We authorise it, and it is released after the vehicle is returned and inspected. We only draw on it for damage, fines, missing fuel or a late return — and if we do, you get an itemised breakdown of exactly what was charged and why.

The amount you contribute if the vehicle is involved in an at-fault incident. This is separate from the bond.

Plans carry different weekly allowances and can be tailored to how you actually drive. Unlimited-kilometre plans are available.

Charged per kilometre beyond your allowance, assessed against the odometer at return. If you regularly go over, an extra kilometre pack is cheaper than paying the excess rate.

After the first 90 days you can cancel any time with 14 days' notice.

All drivers, including any additional drivers on the agreement, must be 25 or over and hold a valid licence that does not expire during the term.

No establishment fee and no dealer finance paperwork.
